Reader Views Award - Rome's Last Noble Palace

I don’t write for awards, but that certainly doesn’t mean I don’t feel excited to receive them!

I so enjoyed writing this novel, and I’m thrilled this novel has won three book awards and, additionally, has recently moved from the longlist to the shortlist of the Chanticleer International Book Awards. Specifically, my dual timeline novel was shortlisted for the Somerset Award for Literary and Contemporary Fiction 2023.

My award cup runneth over – I am so pleased that reviewers and readers are enjoying my dual timeline novel telling the story of contemporary Sophie and 1890s’ Isabelle, both of whom call an attic room in Rome home, and their connection across time.
