New Reader Views Book Award for Easter at The Three Coins Inn

So pleased that my newest novel, Easter at The Three Coins Inn, just garnered its second book award.

My newest novel earned the gold medal for the Reader Views Book Award 2024-2025.

I’m so pleased my novel (and first series!) has been receiving excellent editorial and reader reviews, and has also won its first book awards.

I so enjoyed writing this tale of found friendship at an idyllic inn in picturesque Umbria, and I’m so pleased that readers have been enjoying their sojourn in the Italian countryside, too.

Easter at The Three Coins Inn - Reader Views award

Friendship. Love. Loss. New beginnings.
Find it all at The Three Coins Inn.

It’s been four years since Emma, Annarita and Tiffany threw their coins in Rome’s Trevi Fountain and cemented a friendship that would change their lives, in more ways than one. Emma has departed Rome for the charming Umbrian village of Todi. where she’s busy managing the Three Coins Inn, while Annarita and her husband run the hotel’s cooking classes. When a new set of hotel guests descend on the idyllic property, eager to recharge and leave their problems far behind, will the inn manage to work its magic on them?

And here’s the full Reader Views review:

Nestled in the idyllic Umbrian town of Todi, The Three Coins Inn has become a sought-after destination. Its beauty, rich culture, and world-renowned cooking class mean travelers from all over are eager to experience all the inn’s offerings. Manifested by three friends and a Trevi Fountain, the resort is a labor of love created by the owner, Emma in “Easter at the Three Coins Inn” by Kimberly Sullivan. The vision of the inn is shared by Annarita and her husband, who facilitate the cooking classes.

People are drawn to The Three Coins Inn for different reasons—relaxation, soul-searching, romance—and some desperately seek an escape from their unfulfilling lives. The newest guests are no exception. After his wife’s shocking betrayal, Chris arrives at the inn brokenhearted, seeking distance from his life back in Virginia. Beautiful, career-driven journalist Madison is entangled in a work scandal, forcing her to take some time away.  Recently widowed, Heike has been feeling lost. She craves a changing landscape, and Grace has been tasked with taking her 12-year-old granddaughter, Kathryn, to Italy amidst her parents’ failing marriage.

Will the guests find solace within the healing walls of The Three Coins Inn?

In this heartwarming novel, readers are transported to the medieval hilltop town of Todi. With its beauty enhanced by breathtaking cathedrals and a lively piazza perfect for sipping a frothy cappuccino, this little slice of heaven is the ultimate setting for being swept off one’s feet. Moreover, The Three Coins Inn has a transformative, almost magical, force that facilitates hope and connection.

Sometimes we need to step away from our lives momentarily to put things in perspective. The inn’s guests, a diverse group, shared this commonality. Author Kimberly Sullivan introduces readers to a cast of characters who have found themselves at a crossroads where they need to reevaluate the trajectory of their lives. The author has done an excellent job of reeling readers in by providing relatable challenges and detailed backstories. From young to old, I could undoubtedly resonate with the plights of the guests.

While the novel highlights themes of love and self-discovery, the shining star is the emphasis on friendship. Some connections are made quickly, like the burgeoning friendship between recently widowed women, Heike and Grace, while others burned slowly before evolving into more. Despite residing worldwide, fate had a hand in ensuring these souls were in the same place simultaneously, which profoundly impacted me.

Readers seeking travel and adventure will marvel at Todi’s treasures. Kimberly Sullivan has deftly illustrated the beguiling setting, making me want to buy a plane ticket immediately. Moreover, the fascinating characters and blossoming friendships will make readers eager to devour the pages. Don’t miss out on this.
