Taking my May Flowers at The Three Coins Inn to visit Todi
My latest release, May Flowers at The Three Coins Inn, is the third in my Three Coins series.
While the first in the series took place mostly in Rome, the second and third in the series are set primarily in the lovely hilltown of Todi, in Italy’s Umbria region.

The story is centered around an idyllic inn, where month after month, new guests arrive – carrying their physical and metaphorical baggage.
So, it was only fitting on a recent visit to Todi, I took my novels along to “visit” their setting.

I’ve had so much fun setting this series in beautiful Umbria. It’s fun to bring so many characters facing challenges to this bucolic location where they can mingle with other guests, explore the region and heal over cooking classes, excursions – and plenty of good Italian food and wine.
Plus, setting my stories here provides me with plenty of excuses to return to pretty Todi for more “research”. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!
Here are my novels posed by some of the landmarks you’ll fine in my novels. And here’s the book blurb for my latest, below.
I hope you’ll enjoy my series and – if your travels take you through lovely Umbria – be sure to stop off in pretty Todi. Well worth the visit!

Glorious spring has arrived in Todi. Will friendship and hope blossom as well?
After a successful seasonal opening in April, friends Emma and Annarita are eager to welcome a new set of guests to their Umbrian inn during the full bloom of May.
Upstate New Yorker Lisa needs an escape from betrayal and the prying eyes of her smalltown neighbors. Elderly, reclusive artist Antonio hopes leaving Milan for a country sojourn will spark his long dormant creative muse. Manhattan socialite mother Sharon grudgingly embarks on a country holiday with her young son, Josh, with whom she shares few interests. Roman author Margherita prefers time spent alone, but her career may depend on a stay in bucolic Todi among fellow guests. And Emma and Annarita are anxious to embrace their close friend Tiffany on her brief stay in the heart of Umbria.
The swallows may have returned and colorful petals now dot the countryside, but will the inn’s atmosphere allow hurts to heal and friendships to blossom?
