Joining the Book Tour for New Chapters on The French Riviera

Very pleased to join the book launch tour for author Jennifer Bohnet’s newest release, New Chapters on the French Riviera, through Rachel’s Random Resources.

This was a fun novel as the temperatures are edging up, and you’re looking for some escapist reading, womne’s fiction with a touch of romance, that will whisk you away to the south of France.

And honestly, who couldn’t use a bit more (vicarious) travel in her life?

Here’s my review:

In Antibes, on the French Riviera, Sandy is desperate when the villa she usually rents to host her writing retreats suffers damage. She approaches Guy, who has become a recluse following the death of his wife, hoping to convince him to reopen his hotel and restaurant. Although he needs substantial convincing, the decision to ease his way back into normal life will have long-term positive effects for him and Sandy.

A group of strangers descends on the villa to embark on their writing retreat. But in addition to upping their word count, this diverse group of women create friendships, come to grips with long-held secrets and experience blossoming love, all accompanied by warm Mediterranean waves.

This was an enjoyable, escapist novel about found friendships and embracing second chances. Ideal for summer & beach reads.
