Call out to Book Clubs!

Is your book club dreaming of a trip to Italy? If so, I may have the solution for you.

My novels and short stories (with the exception of one – a time travel story for Jane Austen lovers set in Bath, England) all take place in Italy, and may be perfect for your book club discussions.

If your timing works with my Italian time zone, I’d love to join virtually if you’ll be discussing one of my books. If, by chance, your book club takes place in Italy on evenings or weekends, I’ll be happy to join you in person. : )

You can see my press kit with the full range of my novels here.

If your book club is looking for an escape to Italy:

You may enjoy my Three Coins series, taking place between Rome and Umbria, and centered around an Umbrian inn where guests come to escape their problems and ease their bruised hearts. Choose between Three Coins, Easter at The Three Coins Inn or my upcoming release, May Flowers at The Three Coins Inn.

If you prefer a mountain sojourn, you may enjoy my In The Shadow of The Apennines, the story of a heartbroken American divorcée, who hopes to begin a new life in a sleepy mountain town in Italy’s Abruzzo region. But when she alienates the townspeople, the discoveries of letters and diaries from a past tenant of her home and a survivor of the 1915 Pescina earthquake reveal startling parallels with her own life.

And if you – like me – love Rome, I hope you would enjoy my dual timeline novel, Rome’s Last Noble Palace. At its heart is the  elegant Palazzo Brancaccio and the two women who call its attic apartment home – in 1896 and the early 2000s – and one ghostly element.

If you enjoy bite-sized women-centered stories set across Italy and beyond, you may want to choose my short story collections, Drink Wine and Be Beautiful. The twenty-one stories in this collection follow women’s lives as they confront betrayal and love, alienation and community, despair and-ultimately-hope.

If your book club loves Jane Austen, historical romance and time travel stories:

You may want to dive into Dark Blue Waves, IndieReader calls it “a detailed and immersive time-traveling romance populated with colorful characters and plot twists that would make Jane Austen proud.”

If you’re scheduling any of these novels in your book clubs and you’d like me to join the discussion, please reach out to me on my contact page.
