Happy 2021!!

Were we in need of a new start.

And a new year.

As a history nerd, I’ve always loved the post-World War I era, so one year ago I was thoroughly bamboozled by the glamour of the year 2020 – the chance to ring in the new roaring 20s.

The Jazz Age. Flappers. The economic boom .. before the crash.

But sadly, 2020 was all about the crash.

What can I say, I’m happy for a fresh start in 2021, and trying to put this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year (to borrow from the beloved children’s book) behind us. Containing a pandemic is important, but not destroying lives and livelihoods is equally important.
