Are you NaNoers gearing up for November?

NaNoWriMoIt’s almost that time of year again! The air starts growing crisp, the days (sadly) start getting shorter, and it’s time to remove your writer friends from your speed dial.

No point in inviting them out for dinner or drinks in November because they will be glued to their seats after work taking on an insane  inventive writing marathon challenge to write a novel in a single month.

30 days = 50,000 words. That’s the challenge for National Novel Writing Month. How many of you are signed up to meet the challenge this year?

Irish author and NaNo enthusiast Grace Tierney did an interview with me a while back about the NaNo challenge and her role as a regional coordinator – lots of great advice here for those of you taking the plunge, and others just curious to find out more. You can read that post here.

Best of luck to all you NaNoers. As always, I’m cheering you on from the sidelines!

Yep, doing it again this year – I agree with the insanity part but it’s good insanity, honest. Going for a non-fiction book this time, inspired by my blog.
