200 posts… and counting

200As the end of the year rolls around and we start thinking about those dreaded  encouraging New Years’ resolutions to really start 2014 off right, it’s also helpful to reflect on achievements throughout the year. I’m going to give myself a little pat on the back for my two hundredth blog post today.

I started this blog off almost two years ago, consistently posting a travel blog and a writing blog each week, and I’ve had lots of fun doing it.

The biggest surprise about blogging for me has been all the fantastic people I’ve met along the way. I’ve received so much travel and writing (and life) inspiration from all the wonderful bloggers out there. It’s made blogging that much more fun.

So thanks to all of you who follow my blog, and those of you who create such fantastic content that I love reading. May we all enjoy a happy 2014 blogging year.

Thanks, Claire! Yes, it does roll around at a good time of the year… just when I’m looking for things to be able to celebrate. : ) Hope Provence is beautiful for the festivities.

Thanks, Peri! And happy 2014 to you, too. Virtual is great, but we need to have a physical catch-up,too. Still hoping one of your flights will take you through Rome…

Congratulations Kimberly! This blogging thing is rather amazing, isn’t it? And even though we ‘met’ at the Women’s Fiction Festival it’s great to pop over here and see what you’re up to. I can’t believe I’ve just entered a competition with a post entitled Why Italy Will Break Your Heart Many Times Over!? The things we do for this country!

Yes, it is lots of fun. And since you refuse to come to Rome to visit us, : ) it seems to be the easiest way to stay in touch. Loved your posy on all the wisdom gained this year. Tantissimi auguri!
